I hav a drivers side drop, dana 44 axle from an early ford bronco which were made from 1966-1977. Pictures are available, just PM me email and Ill send them to you. I am not sure of the exact year of the axle or the mileage. It is 63 in from wheel mount to wheel mount. The radius arm wedges are still there but have deep gouges in them from where the previous owner began chopping them off. The shock mounts have already been chopped off. The previous owner removed them because he was attempting build a coilover suspension for his bronco when he realized he was in over his head. He sold the Bronco off in pieces and I bought the axle hoping to put in under the front of my Cherokee. Plans have changed for me and I no longer need the axle. I removed the differential cover and checked the gear and drained the oil. The gears are in great shape! It looks like it may contain newer gears but I am not sure. The ratio is 3.73. Now there is absolutely nothing wrong with the axle (other than the shock mounts have been removed which you can see in the pictures). It may need a rebuild due to its age but thats a not a big deal for guys like us! I need to sell it to pay for tuition this semester.Ill take $250 obo.
